It is highly suggested that students take Level 2 (2nd Edition) before taking this class. The new edition was greatly enhanced over the original, specifically to better prepare students for this class. Level 2 built skills for networks with multiple network
switches, but it was still all at Layer 2.
This Level 3 explains what a Layer 3 routed network is, why it is used, and how to use Dante in this space. This class also offers another peek at Dante Domain Manager, offering more insight in the role it plays in system designs. This is helpful for
designers and integrators alike. At the end of this class, we hope students will be more comfortable setting up their own Layer 3 network and/or gain confidence in networking skills that will undoubtedly improve conversations with IT professionals.
