Voice technology can be an effective tool in enhancing a digital signage experience by adding ease and reducing friction. Michelle Montazeri of Legrand | AV, Frank Pisano of BrightSign LLC, David Polinchock of Unified Brand Experience Lab, Daniel Shefer of Kardome, and Dina Townsend of YCD Multimedia sat down with Bryan Meszaros of OpenEye Global to discuss digital signage voice applications. - Voice can be used as a method for interacting with a brand.
- A well-designed system using voice will require a multitude of partners; so, collaboration is key.
- You need to understand the environment where the signage will be located in order to design to avoid ambient noise or other interference.
- There may be different expectation levels for different generations, but voice makes for easier and simplified interactions that span generations.
