Four Changes AI is Making to IT

Whether it's autocorrection on phones or algorithms in social feeds, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is doing a lot of the heavy lifting for us. It can already be seen impacting many facets of our lives – including industries like Information Technology (IT).

Using AI, computers can accomplish tasks by examining data and recognizing patterns. AI can be divided into distinct technology segments, but a central role in the IT industry belongs to machine learning and one of its subsets, deep learning. Companies are increasingly looking at how AI will add value to their operations and provide a competitive edge for them as they work to keep pace with accelerating innovations. 

AI-driven applications are mainly used in quality assurance, service management, and process automation. AIOps, known as AI for IT Operations, offer a productive way to manage IT operations. And while AI already has a hand in IT, there are many changes expected in the future.
